Hmmmm... How do I find it!?

Almost a week ago now I misplaced my iPod. I know it is here in my house but I have searched and searched and cannot find it. I have also tried to retrace my steps and remember the last place I saw it and I keep coming up blank. I'm only 14 and have a trip to New Jersey coming up at the end of this month. It is very important that i find this iPod, hopefully in less than a week! Please help! Serious answers only please.
