My mom is mad at my dad so she took my ipod touch?

I'm 22 years old and still living at home while I save up to move out since I was going to college. my dad made some mistakes with money a while back and so my mom keeps taking stuff around the house and locking them in her room. He is working to make things right but she still holds it against him no matter what. She keeps taking things such as the wii remotes, the tv remotes, the cable boxes, my dad and brothers ipod touches, cell phone and other charging chords, my brothers playstation, brand new pots and pans to replace the one we have where the stuff that makes it non stick is flaking off and numerous other things. My dad asked to borrow my ipod touch when I went to bed last night. I came home from work this morning to find it missing. She denied it and called my dad a liar but whispered to me it was upsatairs and it was magically next to my bed. And any other time you disagree with her even for something stupid you are being disrespectful and you will find something of yours missing. She often plays stupid and denys it but it usually comes out. Its a lot of mind games. You think you misplaced something and ask if anybody has seen jt and she lies to your face and says she didnt see it. Or you tear the house apart looking for sonething and the next day its blatently out in the open. Stuff doesn't get returned for months. But don't get excited because within a day or two she will make up another reason to take it back. There is nothing left for her to take. I don't wanna stoop to her level and break into her room to steal stuff back. And same goes for taking her stuff. She will call the cops and accuse you of abusing her if you push past her if she is blocking you from walking away or if you try to taking something of yours from her hand. I really don't know what to do. Please help. I have a lot of self control but I'm very frustrated and its taking all my will power not to slap her across the face.
