I lost the title to my car!?

I recently bought a car from a man on craigslist. He gave me the title and registration which were in his name. However, before I could get them transferred into my name I misplaced the title. He has filled for a lost title. But I do not have a license plate at the moment. What can I do? BTW I live in Arkansas. Thanks for the help! : )
