Has anyone financed a dog for 5 years?

IF you're buying a dog that's so expensive that you need to finance it, I'd hate to see your credit rating. You can buy a really cheap pet off a local breeder or even better, the local humane society. If you can't afford to adopt a dog of about $500, then you can't afford to keep one either.
